Day 1:
- Transfer from the airport in San Jose (SJO) to your hotel of choice and overnight
- The capital of San Jose is a vibrant metropolis, the GAM or “great metropolitan area” is home to 2.2 million people or 50% of the country’s population. Explore great museums and fine dining among some of the attractions
Day 2:
This is the beginning of one of the highlights of your trip; an overnight white water rafting at the world famous Pacuare River. You will be in great hand with Rios Tropicales, a pioneer of these waters that has hosted the world championships in rafting and kayaking. Overnight at the riverside Pacuare Lodge
Day 3:
After a thrilling day of hiking and rafting you will be transferred late in the afternoon to the Arenal Volcano area for a two (2) night stay at your hotel of choice
Day 4:
Get ready for more thrills with your local host, Desafio Costa Rica as you hike and tackle the lost canyon by rapelling within its waterfalls. Overnight at the Arenal volcano
Day 5:
- Guided transfer up the continental divide to the Monteverde Cloud Forest. The “door to door” five (5) hour transfer in a combination of car, boat, horse and car; off which at least 2 hours will be on horseback where you will enjoy majestic views of the Arenal volcano and lake
- Overnight at your hotel of choice
Day 6:
- Morning hike in the pristine ecosystem of the cloud forest among the longest suspended hanging bridges and zip lines or canopy tour in Costa Rica.
- Afternoon transfer to the beaches of Guanacste on the Northern Pacific Coast for three (3) nights of earned relaxation at the hotel of your choice
Day 9:
- Transfer to the international airport in Liberia (LIR) for your flight back home
